Terms of use

Postaboo is provided by Deliberate Pty Ltd (ABN 95 665 617 336), an Australian company. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Postaboo" mean Deliberate Pty Ltd and the Postaboo service at postaboo.com, and "you" means the person using it.

By creating a report or otherwise using Postaboo you agree to these terms and to our privacy page. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date above when we do, and for a significant change we will email you. Continuing to use Postaboo after a change means you accept it.

Your account

  • You must give a real email address that you control. It is how you sign in and how we reach you.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You may only upload analytics for a LinkedIn profile that is yours, or that you have the owner's permission to analyse.
  • Each LinkedIn profile belongs to the first email address that uploads it. If that was a mistake, contact us and we will help.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your email account secure, since sign-in links are sent to it.
  • You must not use Postaboo for anything unlawful.

Free and Premium

  • Creating a report and checking in each week is free. We may set reasonable limits on free use, such as how often a new export can be added.
  • Premium is a paid subscription that adds further features, described on our pricing page. One subscription covers one LinkedIn profile.

Payment, renewal and refunds

  • Premium is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars. The price is shown before you pay. GST or other taxes are added where they apply.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and are never stored on our server.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from My reports. Premium then continues to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew.
  • We do not refund part of a period, or periods already used. This does not affect any right to a refund you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we will try again for a few days. If it still fails, the profile returns to the free plan.
  • The Founders offer gives the first 100 Premium customers 50% off for as long as that subscription stays active. If it is cancelled or lapses, the discount ends with it and a later subscription is at the standard price.
  • We may change prices. A change will not affect a period you have already paid for, and we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before it applies to your renewal.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload files that are not genuine LinkedIn analytics exports, or that contain malicious content;
  • try to get into accounts, reports or data that are not yours;
  • use automated tools to create accounts or load the service heavily, or try to get around our limits;
  • interfere with the service or attempt to break its security, other than as described under "Reporting a security problem" on our security page;
  • copy, resell or pass off the service as your own.

Your data

  • The analytics you upload and anything you add remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.
  • You give us permission to store and process them in order to provide the service to you, as described on our privacy page.
  • We may use figures from many accounts, combined so that no individual can be identified, to produce averages and benchmarks and to improve the service.
  • We do not sell your data.
  • Please do not paste in sensitive personal information, such as health or financial details, in the optional text fields. They are not needed and are not what the service is for.

LinkedIn

Postaboo is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to LinkedIn. "LinkedIn" is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. You are responsible for following LinkedIn's own terms when you download and use your analytics. LinkedIn may change what it lets you export, or how, at any time, and that may affect what Postaboo can show.

What the reports are, and are not

  • Reports describe the data you provided. Their accuracy depends on that data and on LinkedIn's export.
  • Suggestions, including any written by artificial intelligence on premium reports, are general ideas, not professional advice. AI-written text can contain mistakes. Use your own judgement before acting on it.
  • We do not promise any particular result, such as more followers, reach or business.

Ending your use

  • You can stop using Postaboo at any time, and delete your account and all your data yourself from My reports. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Cancel any subscription first: deleting your data does not cancel it.
  • When a subscription ends, your report and history stay on the free plan. Anything Premium wrote for you stays too, but is no longer refreshed.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.

Changes to the service

Postaboo is a new product and will change. We may add, alter or remove features, change limits, or stop offering the service. If we decide to close the service we will give reasonable notice by email, so you have time to save anything you want to keep.

Our content

The Postaboo name, design, text and software belong to Deliberate Pty Ltd. You may use the service for your own purposes, but may not copy or reuse those things without our permission. If you send us feedback or ideas, you agree that we may use them without owing you anything.

The service is provided as it is

We work to keep Postaboo accurate, available and secure, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, free of errors, or suited to a particular purpose. Support is provided by email, and we aim to reply within a few working days.

Liability

Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity or lost data arising from your use of Postaboo; and our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred Australian dollars.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
